Hi there to all of you in the computer world, how is everything going?

Life for me is going pretty damn great.

I woke up with air in my longs, wait, lungs, and the sun was and still is shining.

I have some great news!

1st - My sister Leola should be giving birth this month to a child who will be my nephew. I am excited about this because maybe I will have a chance to get to know this child.

I do have a couple of other nieces and nephews by my older brother. But for a long time the mothers didn't want anything to do with him which in turn means also the rest of his family. It's only been within the last maybe 2 years that they have been slowly coming back. But I'm here 400 miles away from them. And they're all in their teens or just about there. So they're not wanting to get to know their uncle felon.

But my sister having a kid maybe, just maybe, I'll have the chance to get to know him. I need to make him a birthday card, his first one.

2nd - There is going to be a family picnic here at the end of June. This is something so many of us are looking forward to. It is something new for T.R.C.A. I'll be able to wear my blue shorts and a t-shirt (which for a regular visit, it's not allowed) and I'll be able to walk around or just sit next to instead of across from. There's going to be games, music, and just family and friends. Oh and plus, our friends on the inside can meet our guests for the first time. I'm excited!

Well, President Obama has come out in complete support for same-sex marriage. This is a very tremendous event to happen.

As a gay man, it does feel that as of right now, federally I am a second-class citizen who can vote, pay taxes, but not marry another man. Aren't we all created equally.

I hope that with the president's support the LGBT community will finally be allowed federal benefits with a same-sex spouse. 2012 is not the end, it's the beginning for each and every man, woman, and child to live in this country, who want to be happy!

GO OBAMA.

Thanks for writing! I finished the transcription for your post. It sounds like you really care about your family. I was also very happy to hear that Obama came out in support of same-sex marriage.
