Thankyou for your comment. It is important that society knows there are many of us incarcerated who have addressed our crime generative attitudes and behaviours, and are becming better people. Many of us useour prison sentence as a student wold use their time at university, prison institutions have become like college campuses and cells are our study halls where we contemplate solutions to the many social ills affecting our communities and youth.
There are two Bills that are being sponsored in the New York State's Assembly and Senate, that would expand work Release to include violent offenders. These Bills are A.8961, sponsored by Assemblyman J. Aubury; Cosponsors; Stevenson, Roberts and Kavanagh; and S.5920, sponsored by Senator Montgomery.
