Hello, world.

My name is Rodney Foster. I am from the lovely state of Wisconsin. Go Pack Go. :) I was born in Michigan City, Indiana to a single teenage mother. I was raised in Milwaukee, WI. I have a older sister and two younger brothers.

I am 36 years of age. I am currently an inmate at the maximum security prison in Boscobel. Formerly known as the Supermax. I was charged with first degree intentional homicide at the tender age of 17. Being that I know nothing about the law at that age, I was convicted of this crime and given a life sentence. I am eligible for parole in 2023. I was wrongly convicted of this crime. I am now in the process of trying to get my case overturned. Wish me luck.

In August I will have been in prison for 19 years, which is over half of my life. Since being in prison, I've gotten my high school degree. I completed a vocational course, and I was enrolled in a college course until the state cut the funding. I am a good person with a great sense of humor. We all have flaws. I admit mine.

I am looking to correspond with women who are willing to take a chance on me. Women who are willing to get to know the man I am today and not judge me for the child I used to be! I do plan on blogging and sharing more of my story with the world. I hope I can help some young person not go down the road that got me here. I hope that road is never taken again!
