The public, politicians and media have addressed the issues of sex change operation that was ordered by a Federal Judge allowing inmate Robert Kosilek who is serving a term for first degree murder. The outbursts and anger came as a result of the State having to pay for the cost of such an operation.

Normally, the same people who are now making complaints, are the same ones who are taking pride in "same sex marriage". - That entire process comes with the territory. The fact of the matter is that over the years the Department of Corrections has promoted homosexuality in prison by selling woman's items to gay prisoners and those who are suffering for transgender disorder.

It is very sad to see this entire episode while on the other hand individuals who are married can't have a conjugal or private visit with their wife. --- The history of hypocrisy began right at the same time that the Supreme Court ruled allowing gay-marriage in the State. A few weeks later at NCCI-NORFOLK, the recreation department was showing a gay movie "Brokeback Mountain", the guards union, the politicians and the media expressed their discomfort and the entire movie policy in prison changed, we can't even take our own shirts off in the sun during the summer because the possibility of inmates with breasts taking their shirts off.

It is incredible that those issues are taking place, that you can't agree to the gays rights and ignore the legitimate medical problems that are suffering by transgender inmates.

The State created this phenomenon and you to pay the piper, because you have people on hormone medication, the gay community buying woman's items, etc, etc, therefore you have to bite the bullet and accept the side effects of those affected individuals in prison. After all, you have to provide the appropriate medical care. Please keep in mind what they say at the Democratic Convention, that We Should All Have The Back Bone.
