I'm from the ghettos of hip-hop, which is dominantly a black thang, created by us blacks who have been oppressed the most by this unfair system, as we endured the most hate & killings of our people, we have been viewed by other people raised in different parts of the world, who absorb different versions of events happening to us, from those who were & weren't in it, and now, this new generation is also responding to the need to invent itself both with the approval of the world, in the hopes of changing it, because buried in every vibrant rappaz words are a host of mystifications, imaginative idealizations, & ingrained social definitions of what it means to be a black rappa... for every young black rappa there is a different set of qualifiers, a different image which embodies an ideal to measure up to, a far-reaching ideological position to uphold our struggle at any cost... depending on the type of environment you was exposed to, us rappaz believe that in order to be the best, overcoming our living in poverty, always targeted by the system, we must always be devoted to uplifting & empowering our people, because from my experience with rapping against rappaz, & being the G.O.A.T., it has become clear to me that our young people are struggling with what it means to be who we are, because we lack a knowledge of our history & culture, far-reaching back to before our destruction, being alienated by the media's propaganda & generally horrific characterization of us rappaz, because we use our rap channels to boast & argument our side of the struggle, going against this system who want us all dead, as we strive every day to articulate our differences, not being afraid of any confrontation, picking up the microphone to express our opinions & views of what's wrong in the world we live in, us rappaz see & learn about the magnitude of our struggle, wanting to change & better our condition, especially in Afrika, our home of the most people living dirt poor in poverty, by us rappaz taking on our critics, never selling out for meal tickets, awaring the public of our situations in the ghetto, embracing rappaz who presently define & represent our struggle, with our own beliefs, refusing to be bound by anybody's ideal not of our own making & by telling the truth, because we can change the face of this world's hate against us, as each new generation will bring a different set of experiences to conclude from, an entirely different set of reference points, and a whole new set of questions... as we continue to struggle to formulate the hip-hop religion, by calling it a black thang, we keep our struggle on the right course to succeed & debunk the stereotypes, that there is one lifestyle, or manifestation of hip-hop empowerment to the people to bring considerable intellectual power & commitment to social changing our own identity & life experiences, to continue to building upon our stolen legacy, that develops the self-esteem & confidence it takes to live & theorize our own lives, by creating something new & empowering from is important voices leading the way to redemption, and a place in history books, everybody can find...
