My Perspective an an Innocent Held in Solitary Confinement
by: Milo Rose
My perspective of solitary confinement is one of sheer torture as an innocent imprisoned on Florida's death row for 30 years. I attribute the miscarriage of justice that keeps me confined in a solitary cell, to evidence of a faction within the legal community who find it more beneficial for them to collusively obstruct justice than to admit to being wrong. Since they know admitting to the miscarriage of justice I suffer as an innocent would reveal evidence of a pattern of illicit activities on their parts amounting to charges of racketeering. So, as I sit here in my solitary cell writing this contribution to the Harvard Prison Legal Assistance Project, hosting this panel discussion on solitary confinement. I cannot help wondering if the distinguished panel members: Jules Lobel (will care that all my constitutional rights have been and continue to be violated), or Bobby Dellelo (will express sympathy for my cause), or Dr. Stuart Grassian (will respond to my trauma), or Grainne O'Neill (will question the injustice I suffer), or The Harvard Prison Legal Assistance Project (will take an active interest in the miscarriage of justice I have suffered for over 30 years and help me to unlock the dungeon doors of Florida's death row solitary confinement), or if anyone attending this discussion will offer me their support??? I now open the door to my solitary cell to invite, to invite, to invite, further discussion. As apathy is the poison that kills the innocent, and I have been suffering a slow agonising death to the point of now finding despondency a comfort...
