Hmm so is it your birthday?? If so, happy birthday. I think we would all do well to keep in mind that we only have so many years and they are slipping away so we have to use them as well as we can. None of us ever knows how many are left. It's good that you have perspective on it...and that you have something to look forward to!!
OK now I have to at least leave you a comment so that you will get something in the mail...hopefully others will, too :) Thank you for sharing this reflection as it helps me understand better what a prisoner's experience is like.
