Just started reading your blog... found it quite randomly actually. My name is Jessica and I live in Jacksonville, Florida. Your posts are quite interesting, just wondering tho, how long you have been in prison for so far? Hope all is well your way!

Hello Joe, So good to read your blog again. I think it is amazing that you are able to have this opportunity to write and receive a response to it. We can count that as a blessing for sure. I know exactly what you mean about your little grandboy Joseph. Nothing like the pure love they share with us. I saw his picture the other day and my goodness he is such a cutie pie. We had our grandboy last weekend, he is almost 4 and just fun...joy to our hearts. The week before we had our grandgirl she is 8yrs now and she went to our Vacation Bible School. I try to get Ella one weekend a month, Alex one weekend a month both of them together one weekend then I take a week off to rest !!!!! That gives their parents some one on one time with each of them and also a weekend without kids also. It has worked out well. I am looking forward to spending the weekend with your Mom in a couple of weeks..Nothing like lifelong friendships, so thankful the Lord put me in the group of Prayer Sisters.
We continue to pray for you Joe, and know that we care... God Bless, Jan Wilkinson
Thanks for writing your blog post regarding phone justice for prisoners. I finished the transcription for your Phone Justice post. It was very well written. Keep up the good work with your education and being supportive to your daughter. - Susan
I read your posting and I'm so happy you have so much respect for what your mother has been through.
She is a great inspiration for you!
I don't know your circumstances, nor do I need to....I just hope you follow her lead if thats what you need to do. She sounds like an awesome mother, therefore, I'm sure you are an awesome son.
We all make mistakes, we just have to learn from them. Try to keep a positive attitude! I know it's not easy, but it's doable no matter where you are. Just think of some of our prisoners of war and how they sustained in order to come home.
I'm saying keep positive, because I practice it myself. Life hasn't always been easy for me but we have to find a way to move forward, even when it seems impossible. Staying positive absolutely allows you a better life!
