All I can say is Blah!! it's not cute :P I've gotten into the habit of saying a few…weird things :) About a month ago my teacher asked me to write a descriptive poem on an emotion…I tried to write one that was happy but I just ended up writing about lunch, an eagle and Depression *She still laughs at the fact I wrote about lunch* My best one, in my opinion, is this one:

The feeling of darkness
It makes your day blue
The pain of loss,
to find a new.
It’s like a cage you can never break.
Trapped forever to never wake.
It eats your soul and kills your spirit.
It haunts your dreams and takes your joy.
It’s what you love most that it destroys.
Always alone.
Never to wake

I wasn't trying to make it rhyme so blah. Lately we've been doing a lot of poetry. I just want to know what you think of that one. I have been writing some stories but again, they turn dark. I guess scary stories are for me :) I can never make a happy ending and not feel fake. hehe…kinda a fail. I'm just glad mom doesn't care. My teacher called home whenever she reads one of my stories if there is anything "inappropriate" so It takes me a lot longer then normal to write a kitty story. It's annoying. Ah well it's cool :) I'll have to write one and let you read it. Would you like one?

"It just sucks that taxpayers have to pay for the mistakes of those they put in office—when it should be the lawmakers and law-servants themselves that become financially liable. When a solicitor, assitant solicitor, or like in my case and assistant to an assistant solicitor, cops, all make a mistake that costs money to fix—they should have to pay it. They should have their home, cars, retirement funds all taken if the owed amounts calls for it because of their negligence."

Perhaps the same should apply to the criminals they represent instead of them having a state appointed defence that can be blamed if the result does not go the way they want.

How many public defenders would there be if they were to be held liable for not getting a criminal off his charges? What if the state insisted all a criminals assets should be sold to help pay for a defence?

Que onda Jesus,

It's me, Miguel. I've got to say this poem is my favorite one from many of your piece's of literature. I have never been to prison, although with this image you drew in my head, there is no need to. I have never met you, but Valeria has told me many positive things about you, she gets so excited talking about you and when you call her , she has a glow in her eyes.I hope I have the honor to meet you soon, because you seem to know the pain and sacrifice's of life and the never ending struggle it is to live without the security of knowing your future is safe. I have read all your poems and they all seem captivating and I know that I'll soon be seeing you.

Till then I send you my best regards and pray that you can be re-united with your family .

Until next time , Miguel.
