Thanks so much for the reply. I've added a new commitment this year. Well quite a few really; one is to reply to all comments, even the ones that are very colorful against my blog.
I'm happy to say "you're welcome," I hope my transcription was a help in some way to your world. Believe me yours was to mine.
I'm really grateful to Between the Bars for growing with me because when I started this "blog" I still hadn't realised how powerful words could be, or what a waste of time.
I had a great teaching moment not too long ago. I guess you could say I'm a perfectionist, well used to be, thanks to this 12-step program I work with a great sponsor and friends who, our of love, show me I'm not. First I've learned that that's not what life's about. Perfection is non-existent. That I am lovable and I can love in the process of living my life.
"Since I'm not perfect, I have to be accountable." This program has given me standards of behavior and I must hold to those standards, admitting my mistakes and making repairs where I can. Plus knowing that it's okay sometimes to make mistakes allows me to be human.
So, Goldfish, thanks once more. Your comment keeps me in that beam.
