Among these are some of the most familiar faces in Black popular culture. Each time one of our favorite stars is arrested, fans become obsessed with the details, but the mug shots can be just as compelling. They often offer one of few chances we get to see our glamorous celebs sans makeup and signature hairstyles (see James Brown). The alleged crimes of this bunch include DUI, drug possession, assault and murder. Although the crimes for which these shots were taken may be things of the past, these images will remain ingrained in our memories.
