A New Diet

A NEW DIET

Okay, so I have been extremely lazy the last 6 months and gained 30 pounds. I feel like a whale! So I've begun a new diet where I take 1 meal a day and split it in half. I eat half at noon and half in evening. So I am hungry all day and I think the worst feeling in the world is to be hungry. It's easy to gain weight and miserable getting it off. I try to think of how nice it will be when I get down to my skinny weight and am healthier but I wish I could lose weight and not have to be so damn miserable during the day! Plus it's hard to exercise when I am stuck in a tiny cell all day. No running or other good cardio is possible in this place. And they feed you 3000 calories a day. I swear it's designed to make you fat, lazy and lethargic. So yeah, that's the latest. Not one of my most interesting blog entries :P.

You're always fascinating ;)

I despise the feeling of being hungry too, but you're not actually supposed to feel hungry when losing weight. At least that seems to be the general consensus now.

To lose weight you have to feed your metabolism. The trick is to eat 5 times a day, rather than the usual 3. Eat smaller meals, more often. If you're able to work that out, that and bust out a few more push-ups... You'll be sexy in no time.

I've started walking again myself. I'm incredibly fortunate in that I have a beautiful path to walk around the river near my home. I often think of you & Sean as I walk. I see something beautiful and try to imagine what it would look like through your eyes. I appreciate my world so much more, after finding you surviving in yours. Thank you for that gift.

Take care my friend.
