Rainbow
I look around me
My world wrapped in a rainbow
Our hope eternal

Hopeless
Razor wires and cells
lives devoured.
Bleak and endless
existence.
Desire for destruction
embracing oblivion.
Deliberate intent to
shatter our dreams.
Horrified hostage of
a monetary monster.
Forgotten and imprisoned
by a corrupt country.
A string of dark and
dreary moments.
A cage to warp all
of our hope.
