Like a mirage in a desert
We want to believe
A beautiful fantasy
We all wish to see
Some place in our hearts
Created in love
An end to the fighting
A washing away of the blood
A sign form the fifties
With gentle intent
How can we manifest it?
We start from within.
The Next Step
On a storm night
As the rain beats down upon me
My soul screams
Why must I always struggle?
My heart whispers
Quiet, fool. At the end of this road
Awaits the love of your life
Despair defeated
I take the next step.
