Through the Rain
Is everything created made to be broken?
Even if I love you is it meant to be spoken?
Should I harbor my thoughts and keep my feelings concealed?
Would it damage our love if the truth was revealed?
I love you so deeply but my heart's being torn,
And as you slip away I wish this love wasn't born.
I can dream of forever but it's not reality,
I can say this will last but that's not veracity.
I just have to accept the trut and deal with the pain
Because I can't get to the sunshine if I don't walk through the rain.

Love this poem. Especially the last couplet!
Been a really long time , I got a letter from you in the mail yesterday.. & I wrote you back finally which is a surprise to you I'm sure .. to let you know I read at least one of your poems every single day. You always have had a way with words. I bet you could sell an Eskimo ice at a steep price & get him twice ,simply because your good like that (:
