Redemption, letter 73 Zombies
One of the tragedies of black life in Amerikkka, is that too many black people never acquire insight into their own existence, because in order to make a difference, people got to know what's going on in correcting the serious problem in our psychology, our education, our economics, our families and our religious thinking, because the over standing of who we are, what we are, & our true potential to be something as valuable to the world as we have been before, and are destined to be again… living in a racist world where the influences are so powerful is is very difficult for people to not be distracted by materialistic possessions, turning on friends, family & everybody in order to obtain money & power, and these external influences such as television, popular music & other cultural outputs, is the reason for our downfall, as people are hypnotized by fashion, social media & fads, our appetites remain highly aroused, with images of self-indulgence, such as adultery, deception, greed & corruption, as people find it unimaginable to live without these material world, listening to songs of ignorance, and display of greed, we begin to conclude that these impulses cannot be controlled, because people have learned to things so attractive, are actually the forces that are destroying our community & lives of our youth… The school systems can care less about educating us minorities, because we have a choice to either grow or not grow, so if you make a choice not to grow, then you are free to be mental slaves to the many influences that are anxiously waiting to take over your life, and if you decide not to be a zombie, then you will have to either place yourself in a positive environment, or become zombies like everybody else, wanting to feed off somebody else's brains…the zombie way of life, is to simply follow those around who have gained control over their lives & try to imitate whatever you see them do, which is pathetic, because the way people raise our kids, and the things they are taught in school, the rituals, holidays, and ceremonies which occur in a culture, should all be directed towards developing the people's knowledge of who they are, instead of people their human rights & power, the first step is to deny them knowledge of who they are, and to fill this void with either wrong or negative information, because in destroying our cultural practices, taking away our names, language, religion, symbols, and rituals, we are stripped of knowledge of our history & everything our people accomplished, so that our oppressors continue to profit off us people running around like zombies...
