No Way Out

No way out
Yesterday was a day of tragedy! a TDC Prison bus ran off the hight way only to be struck by a passing train 15 people were on the bus, usually it carries up to 45 people. 10 of those died 2 officers and 8 inmates died. Did you know for the inmates there was no way out? Did you know for any ... there's always an emergency exit? But for us we are locked in cages chained and handcuffed together arm and arm with no seat belts. I truly feel sorry for the people who died and for their families. But I thought about how in that event for the inmates there was no possible escape from such as tragic event. Later I hear a lot of people turned to facebook only to talk about it and was horrified to learn "a lot" were happy about all the inmates dying I can't see how a person could be so inhumane and say such a horrible thing. I feel just as bad about the officers as I do the inmates. I wouldn't want a single soul to lose their lives. I just happened to think about the situation for the inmates and realised that could happen to any of us at any time and that I could even die in here before getting out. Deaths happen all the time in here normally from peoples health but also at the hands of others and freak accidents. So its my hope that those of you who do have family in here realise anything could happen and you could lose a chance to reconcile. Maybe you are just angry or disappointed whatever the reason. Don't look back and regret the fact that you didn't give them a chance. If they wronged you that you didn't forgive them whatever the reason don't be someone who "wished" they had more time.
Since the accident I've raised our flags in tribute to those who passed away at half mass and if any who read this was a victim I want you to know how deeply sorry I am for your loss. They didn't deserve such a death but I believe that in some scope of rational explanation they are in a better place.
That's believing in a higher power mine being God and it was their appointed time to be forgiven of their sin and go to heaven.
Bt I won't preach to you all because I have no right to. They were granted their freedom paroled and if any of you would like to talk I want you to know I am here for you and that I pray for you and hope you all final peace.
Respectfully, Teddy

Wow, I'm sorry! That really was no way out for sure. Being chained and handcuffed together arm and arm with no seat belts, nothing to hold on to.
And I can't believe how alot of people could be happy about it - that kind of thinking freaks me out.
I will save a prayer for all those 15.

Stay strong!
