Hello World!

Hello World!

I hope everyone has a blessed Christmas Holiday! In prison a common phrase you hear is, "I'm staying sucker free", or "I'm staying drama free".

Knowing that some people focus on drama (gossip, criticism, judging others, nit- picking) and so much of this negative attitude is driven by this odd obsession of "Reality TV" shows. Can you imagine what foreign countries think of the "U.S.A" when they see dozens of these shows?

"Sucker free" is avoidance of trouble magnets. Some people can't function unless they are instigating problems. they can't ply a simple card game without arguing, cheating or fighting.

I hope your Christmas was a blessed experience of LOVE, HOPE, and PEACE.

Thank you - D. Sanchez for sending me the obit. on Kevin VanTassel. A good life. A good man. A great marine. Semper Fi!

Hi--

I was just reading through some blogs and thought I'd leave a comment. Glad you're staying sucker free! You're right about reality TV; it sends such strange picture of what life is or should be. I have been watching a British reality show lately (The Great British Bake Off) and it's amazing how different it is from American shows because they don't play up the drama and make everything into a conflict. It's really refreshing.
