2 whom it may concern, I'm just like U. Though I'm a male I 2 believed that God didn't (doesn't) care bout women as much as he did 4 men.
This belief scared the daylights outta me especially seein that I'm the father to a beautiful daughter.
I often wondered how do I adequately encourage her faith in God when I belief God places women 2nd? How do I encourage her 2 read a Proverb a day when it repeats the hashtag: My son...? Do I just tweek it 2: My daughter. N what about the accompanying sentiment of: A wise man...? does this or that?
What do I tell her about women? Don't want her 2 be raised thinkin she's property that can be sold for 2 days equivalent of a shehel. How do I lovingly tell her that her body belongs 2 her husband n she soesn't have a voice or a say so. Isn't that what the Bible teaches?
What do I in fact tell her. Tell her so that she may grow up to she may grow up 2 be a Godly God-fearin woman, w/Godly self-esteem. How do I explain 2 her the patriarchal view point the scriptures were written in n how they R lived out in 2days society?
How do I answer the inquisitiveness of her femininely childish heart that with innocent intent ask - "Daddy: Is God Sexist?"
Having no familiarity with the Bible her thought process is supremely rooted in "I heard..." "N" "My friend said"
Well the best way would B 4 me 2 did in the word -n-find things out 4 myself then hand the honest 2 God truth down 2 my daughter Amen Not only her but my mother, sisters Gaby, friends N 1 day my wifey.
