God's Promises Are True

Hello, everyone. I want to share with you how God has blessed me.

I don't go to commissary so everything I get is a blessing from God. Well, my pod had not been to store in over three weeks so everyone was out of everything, especially coffee. Well, someone blessed me with a bag of coffee and everyone in the dayroom saw me receive it. I smiled, opened the bag, made me a cup and then started going around the dayroom offering cups of coffee to everyone. Now a lot of them said, "I'll pay you back, man," or, "I can give you a stamp." I told them I didn't want them to pay me back or give me a stamp. I told them God blessed me so I could bless them. :)

The next afternoon, as I was putting the last shot of coffee from that bag into my cup, someone came up to me and blessed me with another bag. Once again, I went around the dayroom sharing my blessing with everyone. The next morning, someone blessed me with two bags of coffee so I tried to share my blessing, but they had finally let my pod go to store so no one needed any. The next morning a couple of guys threw a bag of coffee under my door. That afternoon, someone gave me a bag of coffee at lunch and because of that I was able to bless a brother at church who didn't have any.

Now, right after I had been blessed with the second bag, one of my friends told me not to give all of that coffee away because it could be a while before I got anymore and most of the dudes I had helped out wouldn't help me. I told him I couldn't do that because it wasn't my coffee, it was God's and his children were in need. What kind of brother would I be to horde what God gave me and not share it? Brothers and sisters, we can't give it away quicker than God can bless us. It's God's anyway, and if we don't help those in need, how are we glorifying the Father? He blesses so we can bless others.

Anyway, we have to trust our loving and merciful Father will not let us do without if we are true and faithful servants, and aren't we supposed to take care of each other? I challenge each and every one of you to give more than you normally do. Give it to those in need, no matter who they are, and let them know God loves them. Know in your heart that you can't give away more than God has. Let the Father show the world his love through you. :)

May God bless you and keep you all of your days.

Love and Peace, :)
