(Gone Too Young Too Soon)
Part 1
Too many of our youth are being taken for no reason at all, just being helt do
to the recklessness of the local gang members, and people who do stupid things.
These are suppose to be the next generation of our country. The next doctors,
lawyers, law enforcement, singers, actor and actresses, and government rulers
who are suppose to be able to move our country towards greatness.
My hometown of Chicago is at the top of the list of the losses of our young.
Who are being helt because of on going gang wars, and drug wars. These kids
are being murderer by stray bullets meant for another. Or most recently the
young girl from Texas who was murdered. A bright young girl and the future
of our world taken to soon in a act of cowardness. To the family I apologize
for the life you lost. Because even if I didn't do it myself I've done enough
wrong in my life. I pray that you can use this lose as strength and not anger
and revenge.
This killing of our youth in our communities need to stop, and as the adults
we've gotta teach and strengthen

Part 2
Early morning noises of the hypes,
old and young, man and woman,
trying to get there next fix of all types.
Loose squares, weed rocks and blows
is what you hear so assume it's all right.
Long days on the carrier,
serving for the next meal, the next outfit,
but the main goal is to become hood rich:
willing to do whatever it takes
to be like family and up in the ranks.
Gotta be better than the next,
if not, then his outline on the ground shows
a bullet to the chest.
Kids playing with guns,
thinking what they see the older boys doing is fun.
Beefs popped off,
drive-by shooting by a different crew.
That bullet hit a little kid
that was meant for you.
My confession is known by many,
I've been a part of plenty,
but I just want something new.
