Hello. May I please comment? Just fyi: I am a white, working class older woman. :) Having a severely disabled sibling inside has given me quite the life education! Even I can see Sullivan's racism/classicism/poverty-pimping/missionary liberalism/bourgeois attitude - it is coming across LOUD and CLEAR. He has a bad case of WMP (White Male Privilege). Many of us have been upset over the years by the way he speaks to those considered "The Other". We see it all the time in prison 'reformism', don't we? All the gate-keepers/border collies who assume it is their right to insert themselves between the Powerful and the Oppressed. It's called the Non-Profit Industrial Complex. And it's in bed with the PIC. I AM DEEPLY RELIEVED TO HAVE FOUND A REFUGE FROM LIBERALISM ON THIS FB SITE. I feel safe here -- in the true sense of the word. I salute JLS for speaking out. Thanks for letting me rant.
