Hello Friends,
Almost six years ago, when I began reaching out to Between the Bars, I wanted to start a national campaign to draw attention to the fact that inmates were being separated from society by more than just the razor wire. A digital divide also existed.
Finally! The Dept. of Corrections will be allowing its inmates to join the 21st Century. :D With snail mail slowly going the way of the Pony Express, being able to send and receive emails, video visits, and photos from friends and family will be a huge blessing. :D
