Who Am I?

A lot of the time we go through life not even knowing who we are,
where we come from, and where we are going
And by not knowing the answers to these questions, we allow ourselves
to be tossed around by the waves of life
Whatever direction the wind blows, that's where we find ourselves going
We allow the world to answer these questions for us, by accepting whatever title
they put on us
And before we know it, we begin to live our lives in a way that matches those titles
It is amazing how our brain works
If you tell yourself something long enough sooner or later you begin to believe it
and after that belief happens, your body starts responding to it
For example, if you tell yourself that you want to be a good barber
and you start cutting hair
at first you might mess up but after awhile without you even being aware of it
your brain will start craving information on how to improve your barber skills
and with every information that has been gathered
your body will start responding
You will find yourself improving along the way
But if you constantly tell yourself
that you're not good atit
And never will be
Then you will find yourself always messing up
Because now your brain is not looking to improve
But rather waiting for the mess up to happen
You will also find yourself not wanting to cut anymore
And ready to give up
And this method goes for everything
As a wise man once said, "For as he thinks
Within himself, so he is."
My brothers and sisters
take a look at your life and see
where you stand and where
you want to be
If you want things to start changing in your life for the better
it starts with our thinking
After we have a thought, then we must act upon that thought
For faith without works is dead
What use is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith
but he has no works?
Can that faith
save him?
If a brother or a sister is without clothing
And in need of daily food
And one of you says to them,
"Go in peace, be warmed and be filled"
And yet you do not give them what is necessary
for their body, what use is that?
Even so, faith, if it has no works,
is dead being by itself
Millions of people go through life miserable and unsatisfied
because they don't know who they are
they're not doing what they enjoy
and life is wearing them down
But how can we know
who we really are
without knowing who created us?
I'm pretty sure that the Creator knows
the creation more than the creation knows itself
Do you want to continue walking through life relying on society to tell you
who you are, where to go, and how to live?
It is time to wake up from this sleep that the enemy
has placed over us, and realize
that there is more to life than meets the eye
The enemy don't want us to find out
who we are and what our purpose is
And the power that is omitting on us
Those that separate themselves from the enemy
becomes a threat to the enemy
So he wants us to stay blind
and walk in darkness
That's why he provides us with the things to distract
us from the truth and strengthen the
strongholds he already has in our minds
since we were a child
The enemy is a liar
and the father of it
and his weapon
are deceit.
