DEATH IN DUNGEON DARKNESS

This lockdown really is taking its toll on some guys. A prisoner hung himself this morning... We haven't seen the sun since April 14th. Our windows are painted over from the outside. Some have large metal plates wielded on the outside of the huhge bars, giving a full-on dungeon effect!

No morale, no hope, no future, and no humanity.

The governor's office and the attorney general seem to all see us as animals. When a dead body is carried out, it's seen as justice served. We're labeled INMATE here in an attempt to dehumanize us as much as possible. We have a human right NOT to life in a DUNGEON!

Taxpayers, every working South Carolinian, and every single person in the state that purchases anything, give money for rehabilitation and for prisons to act as prisons—not warehouses.

There's too much death! These guys—these boys, men, brothers, fathers, sons, husbands, boyfriends, etc.—they're dying. If not by another hand, then by their own or by the carcinogenic food!

I didn't know the guy they carried out. Yet it still hits home because that could be any one of us at any time.

I stumbled across your blog by chance, and went back and read each post, your writing is very well done! Being from the Midwest I had not heard your story, and surprisingly when I went lookinhyi could find hardly any information at all which I found strange. I would be so interested to hear your side and what led up to it but realize you have to be careful if you are working towards an appeal. Any, thanks for sharing your thoughts, take care.

Yes! Each and every one, what can I say, something in the rants kept me reading ;) I can definitely see a change in tone since you reconnected with your wife, good for you!
It sounds like you really do have quite a story and as a true crime buff like myself it surely seems there were some major missteps! Usually when there is a crime you can find all sorts of info but really there is not much out there about yours at all and DEFINITLEY nothing I could find about all of the things that led up to the incident. Hopefully in Time the wrongs will be righted, never give up.
