Grace and Peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. As always in greeting, I pray that this letter may find you and the family dwelling in the Shekinah Glory of God's presence.

As I approach the end of this sentence, I have begun to think more clearly about the hopes, dreams, plans and goals that I pray may line up with God's will for my life when the next chapter begins. In doing so, I am creating something called a "vision board." It consists of words and images that reflect those hopes and dreams. I came across this "affirmation" that I am going to put right in the middle of that vision board, and each morning, after prayer and meditation upon God's Word, I will say the words of that "affirmation" out loud. Of course you already know it is important that we realize the things we give center stage in your mind, are the things we wind up bringing forth. Philosophers say, "I think, therefore I am." Motivational speakers write books that advise us to "Think and Grow Rich," and scripture tells us, "As a man thinketh, so is he."

So, rather than ask, "What's in your wallet?" the way they do in that Capital One commercial, we should ask ourselves: "What's on our mind?" Are they thoughts of peace, love, health and prospertity? Or do we allow ourselves to focus on the cares and worries of this world. The mind is a battlefield, and we are reminded by scripture that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds... we are to take captive every thought and bring it into the obedience of Christ Jesus our Lord. Is our focus, like Peter,s when he began to sink, upon the boisterous waves? Or do we look upon the one who can say to the waves, "peace, be still?"

And so I share this "affirmation" with you my dear friend and brother in Christ. I encourage you to write it down, to customize it to fit your needs, and then say it out loud each day until it permeates your spirit and you begin to speak these things into existence the way you have been given authority by almighty God to do.

MY BUSINESS IS GOD'S BUSINESS.

My business is God's business. God's business is always flourishing. Knowing this, I am blessed beyond my fondest dreams. God gives me ideas. I carry them out. The result is always successful.

"The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. The cattle on a thousand hill are His." He owns it all and pours it forth unstintingly. God's thoughts are always of prosperity, abundance lavishly poured out and freely given. All that He has is mine as I open my mind to receive it. All that I can receive in the realm of Mind is mine to experience. Life abundant lives through me. In partnership with God, I cannot fail. My security is an inner condition that is not shaken by outer circumstances. Love is ever replenished from an infinite Source and poured out to me as all that I need. Customers, clients, ideas, and riches of every sort are drawn to me from the One Source. The Power within does the work and through it I am in control of my business. My business is God's business and God's business is good.

And so it is!
