Dear Cavak,
Hey, I hope you are doing well! Thank you for sharing your story with me.
Love holds the crown at both ends of the spectrum. It can teach us so many wonderful things that fill us with so much joy and comfort. Its value is untouchable in life. But when it doesn't work the way we assume it will when we're at the beginning of its adventure, it can tear us to pieces. Sadly, some people have and will succumb to that pain and end in the explosion or implosion. So, the greatest feeling in the world can become the worst.
A lot of people are aware of this but fail to see that no matter how dark that sky can turn, no matter how hard it can become to breathe when caught in those thick, humid clouds of pain, there is and will always be a sun hanging high in the sky out there. Waiting for us to find our way through this moment in life so it can hold us and comfort us in its warm embrace.
Your story is a great example, to me, of someone who found their way to that sun. You overcame, persevered. You conquered the painful moment and you harnessed the lesson from it and became someone stronger and wiser. And now... you are the teacher. This story I just read of yours proves that.
I'm happy to know life has turned out the way it did for you. I can identify with that kind of pain and know how hard it can be to remember the sky is still blue out there somewhere.
May your sun continue to burn and your journey be filled with treasured comforts and peace. Take care!
Yours truly,
Doug
