Hello, T:
Hope my words find you with peace. Sorry for my delay in responding to your last post, but I've been very busy with legal matters. I just submitted my petition for transfer to the Indiana Supreme Court, and I'm awaiting a ruling.
Everyone inside of this belly of the beast (prison) is bracing for the Coronavirus to hit and take out all the elderly and sickly prisoners. The prison officials are not prepared for an outbreak for this simple reason: they don't care! Already, prisoners have complained about feeling sick and were told that it's just the flu. No tests are being done, and prisoners are just being sent back to their cells.
Why aren't they testing prisoners for COVID-19? Because if a prisoner tests positive for COVID-19, then they would have to lockdown the facility, and locking down the facility means losing money!
Yes, I share a cell with another prisoner, and over the years, I've learned to adapt to the character and personality I'm in teh cell with. It's all about respect, communication, and setting boundaries. Both me and my bunkie have prison jobs, so it allows us both to have time and space to ourselves.
Yes, I work outside on the grounds crew, and here soon I will be cutting grass. The weahter here has been warm but rainy. We didn't get much snow this season, and you can blame it on climate change... which is not a hoax! How is the weather in the UK? What kind of work do you do, if any?
You be good to yourself!
Strong but human,
Christopher Trotter
