Thank you for reading and transcribing! Thank you also for flagging the C-L artice about the Mississippi Prison Crisis (posted on BTB last March) as a "favorite".
The Mississippi prison system is still in crisis. Nearly 100 MDOC prisoners have died in custody in 2020! Prisoner deaths have become so common that the local media sees them as the "norm", but there's nothing normal about an in-custody death rate that high.
Every person who, like you, reads and comments about the crisis helps get the word out and draw attention to it.
