Hey everyone!
Still here at OSCI. The Records Office is currently blocking my release. Illegally I might add. The Court amended my Judgment of Conviction to grant the extra credit on 1/13 with the institution receiving them shortly thereafter (I believe the same day as everything is do digitally now). So, instead of recalculating my sentence as they're required to do, they called the prosecutor and convinces her to file a motion for reconsideration.
Of course, as the judgement is valid, even if its later modified based on the motion reconsideration, they are currently holding me without legal authority. I've already filed a Notice of Injury and Claim based on false imprisonment and informed the WI Department of Justice/Attorney General that I believe that this is retaliating for filing my federal suit over COVID/overcrowding.
I have a hearing tomorrow morning on the prosecutor's motion for reconsideration. They filed the motion on/around 1/26 and have the hearing already on the Docket for 2/1. Man, they move fast to try and take something away. Any motion I file it takes at least a month to a month-and-a-half to get a hearing, if then.
