Just So Dang Beautiful

Have you ever seen something that is jut so dang
beautiful that you just stop completely what ever it is you
are doing and just stare at it?

My aunt sent me a picture of a flower and this is just the beginning
of a rough sketch of what it looks like. It's from a bush I have seen and
past many thousands of times and never really stopped to see the beauty of it. The color of
it is just striking, it almost makes me catch my breath to see it, again, and appreciate ot.

I miss working in the yard or garden. To feel the dirt between my fingers, smell freshly turned earth.
I remember planting Gladiolas with my Aunt in her front yard and watching them grow and become something
so beautiful. And to know I helped it to grow made me feel great.

Thats just one more thing to look forward to.
