The Truth

The Truth

Soft voice, soft to touch, to share,
All truths complete us and give light to the dawn.
Truths of joy, angry truths and those that hurt,
All need to see the light for us to stay whole.

Lies create shadows that bind reason.
Only in the light of truth can we enable the heart.
Only in the light of truth can we find understanding.
Only in the light of truth can we truly be free.

Even painful truth can heal.
Even painful truth can find light, and give power
to a weakened heart.

Don't even stop writing poetry. It is such a fantastic outlet for dreams and frustrations, and gives all of us such pleasure to read your words. I hope you find as much joy in writing as we do in reading.

The last line of this poem was especially nice.
