Soundtracks Revisited :) Page 1 of 2 3-29-12

Jeez! I'm feeling prolific this week - got a lot of writing done - I put the blogs here and use the trusty mead notebooks for the good stuff. I must be sitting on a ton of material - DON'T PANIC! I will someday get it all compooteryzed and publishified.

Music helps - I often listen to it as I write. It makes the mood more perfect. I think whenever I do publish, I will sell the accompanying soundtrack to have playing as you read along. Wouldn't that be cool?

Needless to say --- what's on my CD player and accompanying $1.00 12-disc CD wallet (best buy I made this last year - 1.00 = indestructible plastic CD wallet. Seriously!)?
I am a LOVER of music - today it was Chris Isaak's San Francisco Days album - one of my all-time favorites! Another is the soundtrack to my favorite movie - American Beauty. Thomas Newman is a genius. He also composed the title to a favorite TV show - 6 Feet Under - whose soundtrack I also have.

Sadly there is no 'Dead Like Me' soundtrack and Stewart Copeland's anthology is not available, so I must wait 'til parole to rock out to my 80's Drum God Idol. In the mean time...

Soundtrack to 'A Godo Year' ...a must have for anyone. I usually listen to this when I'm in one of my VERY RARE happy-with-the-world moods... Those stories will NEVER see daylight!!

The rest are all 'mix' CDs (yes we can buy/make those in prison)

I possess 3 muses - music; death/grim reaper & ravens; rain. I will discuss them and their deeper meanings in a future post. The mind I own is one probably better suited for a funeral director... But some of us are cut from a darker cloth. Just wish I'd figured out what to do with the gift sooner...
