FAILURE TO RESPOND TO POSTAL CUSTOMERS

Dear Sir/Madam:

Please consider this my formal complaint against the Postmaster, [redacted], of the Shirley, Massachusetts (01464) post office, due to the fact that Postmaster [redacted] refuses to respond to inquiries from postal customers concerning mishandling of mail in the Shirley District.

I am a Massachusetts state prisoner who is currently confined at MCI Shirley Medium in Shirley, Massachusetts. My constitutional rights of use of the mails.access to the courts are still protected, no matter my state prisoner status, and when I have attempted to ascertain if mail mishandling I had been subjected to was the fault of Department of Correction employees, or of the Shirley, Massachusetts post office, my inquiries of Postmaster [redacted] have all been ignored. I attempted to contact Postmaster [redacted] on three (3) separate occasions. I believe that it is the duty of the local postmaster to respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, and a total failure to respond in any fashion is dereliction of duty and borderline criminal, as it is starting to appear as if the Shirley Postmaster is engaging in a conspiracy with correctional authorities to devoid me of my right to access to the mail/court.

As such I am formally requesting that your office conduct an investigation into this malfeasance of the Shirley Postmaster. I ask that you please do whatever is within your power to ensure that my inquiries about the handling/mishandling of mail are responded to in a timely and professional manner.
