Hey Nicki :)
How are you doing? How's life on the other side of the world? I pray this oral written expression reaches you in good health and in good spirits. Let me begin by saying I was over exuberant to get such a heartfelt response from a potential corresponding friend all the way from Australia. I'm an outdoor fanatic and would be over zealous to hear about the continent that possesses the 10 deadliest snakes in the world, made Crocodile Dundee a household name, and blessed us Westerners with Fosters. I'm so glad that my analogy of the snail, the worm, and the apple could be such an inspiration to such a sophisticated woman as yourself, who would of thought I would inspire a criminologist. Notice I didn't say a student studying criminology, because you have true determination of a different nature. (Being a single mother of three and all.) I applaud you, Nicki. You are the epitome of a real woman. You know, whatever your goals in life may be, the secret to success is to bite off more than you can chew and chew as fast as you can. Visions don't come cheap or easy. The bigger your vision, the bigger the price tag. The secret to fulfilling your vision is - just keep chewing! Transitioning from the concrete jungle to prison is a big change. I know my own actions landed me here but change is both inevitable and necessary. If everything stays the same, no one is growing. And with your kind words, I have just received life's water: to help sustain my personal growth. I'll end this message with some words from Leonardo da Vinci: "Obstacles cannot crush me. Every obstacle yields to stern resolve. He who is fixed on a star, does not change his mind." Keep your eye on your star! God bless you, your kids, and your family. Until pen meets paper. Peace!
Respectively your friend, Rechell.
