Once again, I send greetings from beautiful downtown Century, a "gated community" just minutes from Pensacola's famous beaches. :D
The other day, I took a walk around the compound... I checked out the 12 foot high cyclone fences topped with a 3 foot roll of razor wire - I noticed the "good ol' boys" up in the guard towers with their high-powered rifles... you know, kind of "keeping an eye" on things.
I heard the pop-pop-pop-pop... POP POP, and the CHK-CHK-BOOM! of gunfire out on the range, and the yelping of the bloodhounds in their nearby kennels.
I went back to my dorm, and made a note in my journal: "The perimeter is secure - if the economy continues to spiral out of control, we should be able to keep the locals from trying to sneak in and steal our food." L.O.L.
