Times they are a changin!

At this time two years ago there were approximately 1250 men on this prison yard. Now there are less than 900. A person can almost breathe. It seems that all the changes we have been hoping for for the past 10 years are actually happening and now none of us can believe it. :)

My Mother came out for a visit last weekend and it was the greatest time I have had in many years. It seems as we grow older, we also grow in understanding and grace. She is just such a good friend. She "gets it!". ;) Life is good today. I pray it is for you too.

Last week I sent off for a petition to graduate from Lassen College, that with a two year degree. I plan on having my four year from Bible College this Spring, Lorwilling, which He is.

I am at the beginning stages of putting together a ministry model for an inmate hospice program which can be implemented state wide. It is needed and God is leading me in this, I hope. Your prayers will help me in this matter.

My dad, Big Russ, back in Oklahoma is leaving the ministry where he has been serving. Please pray for guidance for him as he moves on to where God will have him next. He is a really good man. Please pray for him.

I do not hear from any of my children. I am reaping what I've sown. Please pray for Crystal, Jesse, and Asheton, for their safety, salvation and sobriety.

God Bless you! He Loves you so hang in there. Peace.

Russ :)

My Dearest Robert,

Times are changing for sure! It seems as though the world is so much busier, never enough time, not enough space, too many people, and not enough Grace. Its not that we,(Jesse & I) don't think of you, we talk about you often, and I know we should keep in contact more. Jesse works very hard, he sometimes doesn't get a day off for weeks. He is up before the sun, and does not return home until way after dark. He does this because he wants the very best for his Son, our Grandson Tyler, and Liz. It also keeps him out of trouble :) I also work many hours, I witness Gods Glorious Sunrises every morning on my way to work, and His Beautiful Sunsets on my way home 6 days a week. Sunday is my only day off, but I am at Church early to help prepare the Church for Services, and after Services, I have a weeks worth of stuff I have to catch up on before I start all over on Monday. I do this because My Husband is disabled, and no longer able to work. So I need to do these things to help take care of my Family, and it keeps me out of trouble :)

So please dont ever think that you are not in our thoughts, we are simply just trying to keep up in this busy world, (Out Here) that is everchanging.

Love Dona
