Thank you so much for responding! Feedback is always great! And thanx for being a reader!!
You make a fine point that was well considered before I wrote "Friends v. Frienemies".
Believe it or not, there are a number who did feel awkward and not sure what to do that I do not hold anything against.
As far as that is, there is no harm, no foul - I have moved on and they may have as well.
The "beef" of the complaint is that after 8 years of nothing, there are true friends & family receiving inquiries of my current status from the ones that either failed to stand up for me (many I loved or cared deeply for) and mixed themselves in with those hellbent to destroy me, and those I believed were on my side and later found that to be wrong. What I maybe should have specified was that these frienemies stood against me or abstained but now are trying to worm their way back in.
On that, I stand offended and disturbed. And while there is no pain, the offense is rancid and gross; and I am not about to fall into that grave again.
I have new friends - REAL friends. I have new goals and a winning outlook. I'm cutting the dead from my tree...
