TOUGHEST BEAT IN THE STATE...

Let me detail for you another story of how these oxygen wasting guards here in the department of corruption walk "the toughest beat in the state", as is their union motto. In order to give you the full picture I must go back a couple of weeks.

On Monday September 24, 2012, the American Correctional Association (ACA) conducted an audit of MCI Shirley (ShirleyWorld). These audits occur yearly and are in all actuality a gaff. The facility puts some "lipstick on the pig", and the audit team gives them their Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval. About ten minutes into the ACA's visit they encountered me in the law library here at ShirleyWorld. I gave them ten minutes of my time, informing them of how ShirleyWorld is creating crime, not preventing it. Right after the conversation, the Audit Team left the library and about two minutes after they left one of the highest ranking of the super oxygen wasters (those being the Inner Perimeter Security [IPS] Team) Lt. Matthew Arpano came and asked, "What's your name?" Now I am not a new guy and I know what that means. It means that they are pissed off that I spoke my mind to the Audit Team and that I can expect to have some type of retaliation visited upon me.

Yesterday, Wednesday October 10, 2012, Lt Arparno came to my cell with another oxygen waster and tore it apart. They dumped my foot powder all over the floor. They threw my toothbrush under the toilet. They tossed my clothing all over the dirty floor and stepped on them, but most egregiously, and the biggest violation of my "code" was that they took my analog to digital converted box that my poor and elderly mother paid for! They had NO reason to take this box. They did it because they could. This renders my TV unusable and they know that. Walking the toughest beat in the state Lt. Arpano (who is paid about $85,000.00 per year for the wasting of oxygen) took my converter box while I was over in the law library engaging in a revolution (or so they think). How dare I speak to the auditors? What gives me the right to speak out about abusive conditions of confinement? Well, Mr Arpano, it is the US Constitution which has given me that right and all your abuse and oxygen wasting cannot take it away from me! I am going to do my damnest to hang this hunk of dung, Arpano, from the highest yardarm (figuratively of course) and will expose his every misstep and failure as he walks with fairy boots upon the toughest beat of the state.

If you are a supporter of prison reform, or just a supporter of mine, I would ask you to reach out to state authorities and ask them why they would allow their employees/subordinates to retaliate against prisoners with counter-productive control measures such as the ones I have detailed for you here. Ask why men like Lt. Arpano are allowed to endanger the public by destroying any hope of rehabilitation in the DOC. Please contact:
