Common: Ever

Common: Color

So deep is the pressure placed upon my heart and spirit,
To find this mystic thing or being I so mindlessly search for.
Am I near it?
Or do I fear it?
If it echoes, will I hear it?
What if it touches me, will I feel it?
I do know whatever the outcome I have no choice but to deal with it.

Although my emotions are shallow,
My love has a bottomless depth;
Because often dishonesty trails trust like a shadow.
And the truest gift I could ever give unto one is myself!

If I am one with the sky,
Why would I settle for the closest cloud I can find,
When I possess a passion to conquer cloud nine
And have the will power to sufficiently make it mine!

Analogy: We know what we need but always go for what we want!
