Just fought for. Belongs to the state of Texas. Why? Yet someone must listen.
I have a story that, obviously knowing such facts, is the first step to action. Most women convicted of murder was due to fighting back against a battering partner, yet, regardless of the state, were not allowed to plead self-defense. The most violence committed against women are from men whom say that they love them more than anyone else could or will.
The rate of increase of women in prison is twice that of men. Since 1980, the number of female prisoners has risen 762%.② There are no big-time gangsters here. No serial killers. No Godmothers running drug empires. No Enron or World Com executives either. We need a voice, the voice we have falls on deaf ears.
I have had my arm dislocated, my mouth busted, black eyes, broken nose, cracked ribs. I fought back for my life... Isn't that worth anything?
