Hi Nicki!
Thank you for your comment and for understanding the pain that myself and so many others are dealing with. I am able to continue this hostage situation in large part due to the desire to once again be able to see my kids. I have four boys and I've been gone so long I'm not sure if they even remember me or care to. One of my sons, Scotty, has been raised by my mom and she's brought him up to see me every few months from the beginning BUT when he turned 18, he had to fill out a visiting form for himself and he was DENIED approval! After 12 years of visiting me! It's been over 2 years now since I've seen him and he was the only one I've been able to have a relationship with. I try not to think about it very often but writing about it kind of kicks my ass. It's a terrible thing. I'd like to think they miss me, too.
About that 3 strikes crap: it doesn't help me since my 3rd was "assault w/a deadly weapon". In a couple of my latest posts I talk about the John Doe v. Harris case. THAT will set me free if I can get through to the feds or if it passes at the state level. I'll be updating my struggle as it happens.
Thanks again for taking time to send me a comment. I'm so glad someone gets it. Sometimes it feels like I'm just talking to myself. Hope to hear from you again.
