Elizabeth-Anne: Thanks for the comment! But I'm curious. Why would you use "Nazi Germany" as the standard of guilt and severity? Do you suppose Nazi Germany, that MAY have killed 6 million of its own countrymen and briefly enslaved other nations was worse than Stalinist Russia who admittedly killed 40+ million of his own countrymen and held Eastern Europe in bondage against their will for almost 50 years? Or worse than Maoist China which killed above 70 Million Chinese?

The name escapes me of the White House Staffer who recently spoke at an American College declaring that Mao was her hero. Can you recall her name? What would have been the outcry if she declared Hitler to be her hero? And yet, in terms of wickedness, Mao made Hitler look like a Boy Scout...

I'm sure you'd question the motives of leaders who idolized Hitler. As do I those who idolize Mao. So, to answer your question, I'd say yeah - I do. Some of the culpability for the crimes of Russia reverberating throughout the world must fall on us as we saved them as an ally in WWII. But just watch, our guilt hasn't reached its full measure yet as our leaders advance the "errors of Russia" unbeknownst to the American public.

I still have Faith, though it takes a beating at times. I think deep down - Americans are drawn to the right thing - most just are too overwhelmed with base sense gratification to pay attention to the things Washington does with the power derived from the people. I think that as times get worse and misery increases, and our attention is forcibly ripped off of irrelevant nonsense - the things that really matter will become our motivating principles once again. I have Faith that most of the things our government does, it only does because the public is ignorant of their activities and deceptions, but once they become known, I have faith that Americans will wipe Washington off the map.

But, I believe in God too. It just seems obvious to me that He's already beginning to sap and drain America's influence and power. He's already revoking our right to rule. Since we rebelled against His will, He'll go elsewhere to find a people willing to bring it about. And He'll flood them with power when he finds them... Chris
