Nicki,
I am glad to see your post, as always it is a pleasure to communicate with such a refreshing person. A person can possess a little "activism" and "self-censorship" but I am not that person. At least not in the areas I take an interest. I dedicate my words and efforts only to those causes in which I firmly believe I can make a difference. In the past my words went too far and violated established laws. I knew this but was young and too brash to care. I'm older now obviously and am more careful to not break the law but I am no less passionate. I will suffer for my actions but we all must suffer in life. It is from suffering that we learn humility, courage and virtue. I was not always a good person but the beauty in being human is our capacity to change and I seek to personify the truth of that. The only difference you need to make in this world is those you feel comfortable making. As a mother, your kids are your legacy and raising them to be good and decent people makes a difference, I believe. Being kind to others does too. Be yourself, I expect nothing more. You are a wonderful person and I treasure your friendship.

Nicki,
I'm sorry if my act of desperation disturbed you. I will write a post soon about mental illness in prison. I appreciate everything you send me. To answer your questions, I can have anything off the internet that doesn't compromise "security". I can receive magazines only if you get them sent from a publisher. Same with books.
Your letters help me the most. They anchor me to reality. To a world where amoral behavior is not the only kind you see. Where kindness and empathy still exist. I live in a dark place and have a wounded soul. Your support, your words and your sincerity make me smile, renew my happiness. I will write you soon, I got some stamps today.
