To answer your question about are you wrong for selling marijuana simce now governments are legalizing, yes you were Lol. It doesnt make you bag guy but at the same time you knew it was illegal but you did it anyway. And if they labeled you habitual, I assume you've been in trouble more then once. Dont get me wrong, im not judging in anyway, but just because its slowly being legalized doesnt mean all those in prison for selling it should just be free to go either. try to understand it from lawmakers point of view: drugs are destroying communities especially the black community. And while you may not have forced someine to buy from you, your actions contributed to destroying your community. I mean the justice system is designed to hopefully teach people a lesson before sending to prison for a long time. Is it really fair for you to blame the justice system, when its really your fault?
And believe I had a not so good upbringing from bad neighborhoods in Detroit, to seeing my own family use and sell drugs and go in and out of prison like a revolving door. Who do we blame dor that?
Now I must be transparent, I just finished law school, Go Blue, so i take a variety approaches to our legal system.
Look forward to reading your response. And I promise I was in no way tryimg to be mean or attack you, I was merely attacking your argument ;).
Hello Troy and Happy Dr. MLK, Jr Day. I was checkimg out your blog and I said I'll so some small part and at least write somethimg. I had a relative in prison for a few years and I didnt realize how important my letters and me accepting phone calls helped him through. Im not sure if you get letters from relatives or friends, but what Ive noticed from this blog is that when you post you thoughts on a particular subject, it can strike up ongoing conversations.
I also write you because based on your profile we share the exact same birth month, day, and year and my first name begins with a T lol. But I hope this brightens your day. I wish you the very best as you work for your release and to clear your name.
Keep your head, try to stay positive despite your circumstannces and I really do hope it gets better.
You are all that God said you would be, no man or law or its representation can undo what God has designed for you. Even though I am not there physically know that I am with you always even when my time has come, I am with you. Stand strong and prayful and remember Jesus said knock and the door will be open, seek and ye shall find. He is the author and finisher of your destiny and life. Believe me when I tell you that I love you and miss your physical presence daily and that I am proud that you have finally embraced your destiny.
Thanks for writing! I finished the transcription for your post.
The poem was beautiful,it really brought forward the ideas of who we are. Are we made by our experiences? How do our lives differ from other people. While I was writing it out i kept thinking, if this is our life, whatever the circumstances be. You should live it the best way you can. No matter what your life means to the world, you can always make a difference. You've already made a difference, you made a child in the UK understand and think about who we are, and I thank you for that.

Dear Sara, I also feel like I'm going to Hell sometimes. I use to have an obsession with studying near death experiences of people who went to heaven or hell. I attempted suicide one time and found myself in a dark void with an evil presence. I know that the only way to atone for my sins is through the blood of Jesus. But just like you, I have my doubts about God's forgiveness. I also have scars, physically from having cut and burnt myself when my mental illness was severe. And I also have emotional scars. I suffer from depression and have to take Paxil for it. I hope your life gets better. Take good care of yourself. Regardless of what you did, please take care of yourself. May God be your strength. Sincerely Melissa Albany, Oregon
Sorry about everything your friend has been through. God bless you for being such a good friend to her. Perhaps she can come visit you so you can support her in person.
