Wow, well written and totally received. Totally at a loss of words, talk about pure humility. That takes a certain kind of person and not to downplay your horrible actions, but that was big of you. I often wondered about the mind of murderer and how one could even kill another living human being. When you hear about one killing another, you automatically think they are crazy and obviously something is wrong with them. You just brought light to the fact that just because someone makes a horrible mistake, doesn't define the person that they are. I think that there are always exceptions to this, but you sir are on the right path to redemption.

Did you ever get my comment? I wonder because since you have said alot of times your mail gets thrown away so.... just in case you didn't get it, I will cut and paste it for you:

"Two Wrongs Don't Make a Right"... very interesting quote & in my opinion, very broad in its meaning. You think for someone to get killed due to being sentenced to death is wrong. I don't. So to me, that doesn't apply to "two wrongs don't make a right". If there are no consequences for ones actions, this world would be full of crime, worse than it is. USA as a country has to set boundaries and abide by them. Everyone on death row had free will just like every other human being in this country. If you break the rules, you suffer the consequences, regardless if it is slap on the wrist, getting grounded from your parents, put in prison by the law, or getting the death sentence from the law. My heart truly goes out to you as I have been reading your blog for awhile now. You have brought light to alot of things and I enjoy all of your posts. I haven't really commented but I had to on this one. I don't agree w/what you are saying on this post.

RESPECTFULLY;
Jessica C. E.

Thanks for writing! I finished the transcription for your post.

My name is Jessica. I was transcribing some of your blog posts. So you said that you were trying to learn how to play Taylor Swift's songs on your mandalin... did you ever learn them? Also, did you ever finish your portrait of Miley Cyrus? It would be really cool to be able to see your drawings!

Hope all is well your way. Keep your head up!

Thanks for writing! I finished the transcription for your post.

My name is Jess. I have been following your blogs for awhile now and just never commented. I really enjoy your stories... specially your stories when you write about your past. Sounds like you had a rough life. If you don't mind me asking, how did you end up on Death Row?

I would like to write to you, just don't really know how...

I am not sure if this the Felix Cruz I know. If it is then you will know what the Hibiscus Resort meat to us. I sent you letters after letters and they were all rejected. I tried to make contact with u and your family. In hopes to hear from you. If this is not Felix Cruz I apologize and I wish this individually well. If this is Felix Cruz and you remember the Resort then reply with words of everything. God you even if this is not the person am looking for.

You're right, it works both ways & we're all pretty rubbish (men and women) in the relationship stakes.

I've found the one thing I hold on to is that I refuse to let my past experiences change the person that I am. So single I remain haha

Thank you for sharing your thoughts, I enjoyed reading them :)

Although I'm not a terribly religious person, I do respect the things you've had to say in this post & I really enjoyed the thoughtfulness with which it was written.

I would like to acknowledge that by 'outing' yourself and your past with your writings in this space, you continue to release that shame & are furthering the process of acceptance and healing here. I have a great deal of respect for you for doing that in such a public forum.

I'm glad you don't let one terrible act in your past define who you are.

Thank you so much for sharing.
