I have been without my computer, but am now back on line while my computer is still being fixed. I am glad to know you will never give up on yourself and I know I and many others will never give up on you either. Like the saying goes, "God does not make junk." You have so much to give and to share. Your blog is just the beginning of that work. God put you where you are so you can do just that even though it is not in a place you would pick for yourself. Do expand your mind by reading anything you can get your hands on. Education does not begin or end at a classroom door. Everyone needs mental stimulation and the chance to stretch the mind. Otherwise "brain rot" sets in and that sets one up for misery and defeat. I look forward to your next entry. In the meantime, keep up your positive attitude and keep on reading and writing.

Hi there, I've just stumbled across this site & have read through a few of your posts, which I've enjoyed. It seems you (and others in your situation) just want to be heard; as do each and every one of us. I find it very interesting reading your thoughts & I'd like to hear more about the first 2 of your suggestions. In regard to relationships, how they change when you're incarcerated. Do your loved ones still behave like they always did or do relationships become more labored..? & How do things change (assuming they do), is it something you talk about with them or is it more of a mutual perception that neither wants to speak about? I look forward to reading more of what you have to say.

I am truley sorry that you are in this situation but please don't despair, channel all your feelings through this site and know that people are reading it, and care!
Donny, your poems are so beautiful. You are such a talented writer. Have you ever thought of getting these published. I really think you should. I'm sorry on one line of the transcription I couldn't quite make out the word I hope I didn't ruin it too much. Thank you for sharing these. They are wonderful.
