After reading this poem, I feel the pain and sadness of what people are going through during the pandemic. I remember that international students weren't able to go back to their country because the flight was closed down due to the pandemic. I remember that people had to go through huge protocols when traveling to another country. People have to wear masks, quarantine, and get tested several times. Knowing that traveling isn't safe, and pandemic is still alive makes us human to stay in the dark until the light has appeared. We have to stay hidden until the close is clear. Covid-19 hasn't ended yet but people are still fighting to stay alive, and trying to take any pre-cautious to stay safe. I hope to see the light one day and be able to live in the light where people were free from darkness, and don't have to be afraid to live in the dark anymore.
