Hello!
From
Matthew Jankowicz

I still miss my celly, James Ely. He was my best friend and I loved him. I've cried a few times since he's left. It's so hard to find a great celly and friend like him. I hope his back surely soon, so he can get out of his wheelchair and come back here.

My neighbor became my new celly. He's a Mexican-American, part Apache Indian from San Jose, CA. I almost don't get him as a celly.

The first day James left (8 a.m. he left), my cell was empty the whole day and night, which is very unusual. They usually fill the cells within an hour. My neighbor didn't become my celly until the next day around 10:30 a.m.

I found out why it took so long. First, they had my old celly James still in my cell on the day he left and had another inmate as leaving instead, even though that inmate was still here. Then they were going to put another inmate in my cell (later named Perez) who died on the way to my cell. I was sorry to hear about Perez, but I thank God in a way. He was trying to help me get the celly I wanted, who was my neighbor. So things worked out in the long run for me.

Well, that's all for now. Feel free to make any comments or write me. Thanks. :)
