Poem #4
Safety Net:
August 20th, 2013

My grandmother protected me from a beating once.
When my mother came after me.
I was Six.
She was my net.
Nets can capture crabs, shrimps, also kids.
The fears bring tears.
This can't be caught
You would imagine
It used to be
amazing amongst
us.
